Directions to our studio:
Note: Tom
has built his well-equipped studio in his home, so when you arrive
here you'll find yourself in a nice residential neighborhood rather
than in a commercial area.
From the East Side of Providence: Go north on either Hope Street or Blackstone Blvd to where they meet at the southern border of Pawtucket. There are 2 gas stations at this intersection and a stoplight. Go 2 more blocks to the next stoplight; this is Ridge St. Go to the next street, which is Lowden Street: make a right, and we're the third house on the left. Park anywhere on the right (south) side of the street. From the south: Cranston, Warwick, So. County, etc: Take Highway 95 North to Exit 27. Go to the third light, which will be George Street, and make a right. In about 1 block, bear left to stay on George St. In another block, you'll see a sign saying "Welcome to the Oak Hill Neighborhood". Bear right here onto East Avenue. Go about 3/4 of a mile until you come to Lowden Street (if you reach a stoplight, you've gone one block too far). Turn left on Lowden, and we're the third house on the left. Park anywhere on the right (south) side of the street. From the north: Attleboro, Boston, etc: Take Highway 95 South into Rhode Island to Exit 27. Go to the first light, which is George Street, and make a left. Go a few blocks and bear left to stay on George St. In another block, you'll see a sign saying "Welcome to the Oak Hill Neighborhood". Bear right here onto East Avenue. Go about 3/4 of a mile until you come to Lowden Street (if you reach a stoplight, you've gone one block too far). Turn left on Lowden, and we're the third house on the left. Park anywhere on the right (south) side of the street. |
